Overview

The World's Largest Golf Outing (WLGO) is about having a great day of golf with friends, family and colleagues, while benefiting Fisher House Foundation (FHF) and Arnie's Army (AACF). Fisher House Foundation is a non-profit which is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. Arnie's Army provides financial support to institutions and organizations that help children, youth, families, the environment and communities we live in.

This WLGO event is an 18 hole four person team scramble format. The registration fee includes a $10 per player donation, green fee, shared cart, a WLGO gift bag and local prizes following play. 

If you plan on being a foursome we recommend selecting one individual to purchase your team to avoid accidental duplicate purchases.  Please know that if you register as a single or twosome you will not be able to combine fundraising efforts with another team.  However, you can request to be paired together for playing purposes.

Once your registration is complete your team will be provided with a personalized Team Fundraising Page which can be sent out to family, friends and colleagues in order to secure donations for your team and help raise funds for our causes! Check out our Fundraising Page for some helpful tips.

Event Detail

WHAT TO EXPECT ON WLGO DAY:

When arriving at the course all participants should head to the registration table to check-in. There you will pick up your WLGO gift bag as well as partake in the offerings the course has set up for the day. Cash can be used for raffle tickets, mulligan purchases and other offerings that the course may have but we prefer you do not use cash for additional Team Donations. Please see Additional Donations below for more details.  

CANNOT PLAY OR YOUR PLAYING PARTNER CANNOT PLAY:

If you or a playing partner cannot participate we offer you the ability to have someone take your spot on your team up to 3 hours prior to the event. If this should happen, please notify the course immediately. Additional information on replacing players is available in our FAQ page. 

ADDITIONAL DONATIONS:

While not required, we encourage all teams to raise additional donations for Fisher House Foundation (FHF) and Arnie's Army (AACF) with 100% of those dollars going directly to FHF and AACF.  We recommend utilizing your team fundraising page to ensure these generous donations are applied to your team immediately.  If you plan on bringing in day of donations, please click here to read how you need to bring them. 

HIGHEST FUNDRAISING TEAM (HFT):

The HFT at each local event will win a prize provided by the golf course. 

LOWEST SCORE TEAM (LST):

The LST at each local event will win a prize provided by the golf course.
